Silambarasan, known among his fans as "Chimbu”, "Little superstar" and "Simbu" is a young, multi talented and happening hero in the Kollywood industry. Apart form acting, he indulges in various fields in the cine industry like writing the script for movies, playback singing, directing movies and composing music as well.

He was introduced into this cine industry by his father, veteran director T. Rajendar as a child artiste. Simbu's film career as a hero started through the movie “ Kadhal Alzhivathillai ” which is also a movie directed by his father. He worked hard to earn a name in the industry and the movie “ Manmadhan” proved his ability of acting. Now Simbu has also joined the list of top heroes in the Tamil Industry.
